What is PULSX?+
PULSX is an affordable uptime monitoring service that checks your websites and APIs at regular intervals. We alert you when your services go down and track response times with detailed analytics.
How does the free tier work?+
Our free tier includes 5 monitors with 15-minute check intervals. It's completely free forever, with no credit card required. Perfect for personal projects or trying out the service.
What's included in the Pro plan?+
For just £9.99/month, Pro includes 50 monitors per seat, 60-second checks, full heartbeat history, incident management, and audit log.
How do I sign up?+
Sign in with Google or create an account with email/password on our homepage. Your account is created instantly.
Monitoring & Features
What types of checks do you perform?+
We perform HTTP/HTTPS checks on your URLs, measuring response time and status codes. You can customize expected status codes and set up alerts for any issues.
How often are my sites checked?+
Free tier: every 15 minutes. Pro tier: every 60 seconds. You can customize the check interval per monitor.
How do I get notified of downtime?+
We support Email, SMS, and webhook notifications. You can configure multiple channels per monitor.
Can I monitor APIs and not just websites?+
Yes - any URL that responds to HTTP/HTTPS requests can be monitored, including REST APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and more.
Billing & Subscription
Can I cancel anytime?+
Absolutely. Cancel your Pro subscription anytime. You'll retain Pro features until the end of your billing period, then automatically revert to the free tier.
What payment methods do you accept?+
We use Stripe for secure payment processing. All major credit and debit cards are accepted.
Do you offer refunds?+
Given the low price point (£9.99/month), we don't offer refunds. However, you can cancel anytime to avoid future charges.
Is there a discount for annual billing?+
Yes - annual billing gives you ~17% off (effectively 2 months free). Choose yearly when upgrading to save.
Technical
Where are checks performed from?+
Checks run from multiple global regions to ensure accuracy and avoid false positives.
What happens to my data if I cancel?+
If you cancel Pro, you revert to the free tier. Monitors beyond the 5-monitor limit are paused but not deleted, and historical data is retained.
Is my data secure?+
Yes - we use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. We store minimal information and never share your data with third parties.
Do you have an API?+
Yes - we offer a REST API for programmatic access to your monitors, incidents, and heartbeat data.
