Announcing Pulsx v2: The Future of Uptime Monitoring
We built Pulsx v1 to solve a simple problem: knowing when your website is down. Today, we're launching v2 to solve a much harder one: understanding why it's down and how to fix it fast.
Why v2?
Infrastructure has changed. You're not just monitoring a monolith anymore; you're tracking microservices, serverless functions, and third-party APIs. Traditional monitoring tools haven't kept up.
With Pulsx v2, we've rebuilt our checking engine from the ground up to support the complexity of modern stacks without sacrificing simplicity.
New Features
1. 60-Second Checks for Everyone
We believe fast checks shouldn't be a premium luxury. In v2, even our Pro plan starts with 1-minute intervals. For enterprise customers, we offer checks as frequent as 30 seconds.
2. Multi-Region Verification
False positives are the enemy of trust. Our new "Quorum" engine verifies every failure from at least 3 geographically distinct regions before alerting you. If only one region sees a timeout, we record it as a localized issue, not a global outage.
3. The Observatory Dashboard
We've completely redesigned the UI. The new dark-mode-first aesthetic (we call it "Observatory") puts your most critical metrics front and center. It's designed to reduce eye strain during late-night incident response.
What's Next?
This is just the beginning. In the coming weeks, look out for improved webhook integrations and our public API release.
Thank you to our beta testers who helped shape this release. We can't wait to see what you build with Pulsx v2.
